  • Coloring and Style: Format the data as filled surfaces, lines, and add labels. It is also simple to switch the layout of the axis and have the frequency on either theX- 或者y-axis.

LaTeX Formatting and Other Improvements to Titles and Annotations

You can now include annotations for 1D plots. This option is already available for 2D and 3D plots in earlier versions of COMSOL Multiphysics®

In addition, the annotation functionality has been expanded and includes annotations in plot titles and annotations with background colors, frames, and LaTeX markup. Line breaks are now available by using the LaTeX markup option together with special character syntax: \\.

VTK Export

这Data and Plot export features now support the export of unstructured VTK files (.vtu). This file format allows third-party programs to use this data for visualization.

这Table Surface plot now supports discrete, or staircase-shaped, plots. Additionally, you can create a Table Surface plot from data that has been imported from a file using one of three formats: Filled table, Columns, or Cells. The Filled table option corresponds to the functionality of earlier versions. The new Columns option supports data on a column-oriented format. For example, an imported file corresponds to data saved on the format x,y,z,T, with x,y,z coordinates in the first three columns and a field variable such as temperature in the fourth column. The new Cells option can be used to import discrete data on a matrix format, such as resistance, capacitance, or inductance matrices.

Material Smoothing

Many plot types have a Quality section where you can select a plot resolution, enforce continuity, and specify the use of derivative recovery. In COMSOL Multiphysics®版本5.2a,这些设置已通过几种新选项进行了扩展。对于平滑,您现在有五个选择:

Use of Global Expressions for Slice, Arrow, and Cut Plane Positions
